Kindergarten . . . Here We Come : )

Kindergarten registration started yesterday which is really exciting. Since I spent yesterday morning running around getting information like his birth certificate and shot record we ended up going today to register The Toph Man. : ) I waited until Topher was out of school so he could go with us. I was worried that the office was going to be packed full of moms registering but we were the only ones there.
On the way over Cooper kept asking Topher where his new school was and all Topher could talk about is how he is going to ride the bus. We haven't even told him he is taking the bus yet. : ) He has been asking about riding a school bus for years. LOL

Tophers face looks like he is in pain or that I had to force him to take this picture. Hahaha.  Hopefully this isn't a precursor to his kindergarten photo. LOL
The office had a whole wall commemorating Dr. Seuss's Birthday. So why not take a picture. : )
What Topher does, Cooper does. Love it!!!

Free Hockey Session

We have been trying to decide what sport to get Topher into. He talks a lot about soccer and has some interest in hockey since a couple of his friends are doing it right now. So, thanks to a close friend, we learned about Try Hockey Free for a day at a local rink in Everett. It was the perfect chance for Topher to suite up and get on the ice a little and for me to talk with a couple of the coaches and get some information.
Although the gear was a little big : ) and he hasn't really skated ever it was a fun experience. He couldn't stand up well enough on the ice to really use a puck or get into it that much but it was really fun. I might have jumped out on the ice with him if I didn't have two other kids in tow. : ) Topher had a blast and was really bummed when we couldn't take all the gear home with us. Hahaha

In the Locker Room suiting up. You can probably tell his mom (someone who has never played or even really watched hockey) dressed him. Hahaha
One of the coaches found a helmet for Toph and helped him put it on. This couch was awesome. He made sure we got all the gear that we needed. Thanks!!!
Cooper Kay in the Locker Room waiting for Topher to get dressed. He likes getting his picture taken whenever Topher does. TooCute, Love this kid.
Heading out on the ice. : )
He needed a little help staying on his feet. The rink was packed and alot of the students and couches were busy. Didn't get the one on one out on the ice like I was hoping but he had a blast. : )

Cooper thought the helmet was awesome!!! Just had to try it on before handing it back.

Happy Birthday Baby Chase - Take 2

We celebrated Chase's birthday in two parts this year. Just as at home as a family on his actual birthday and then went to Chuck E Cheese's when Nana, Grandma and Grandpa Croft, and Damian came into town. It was pretty fun!!! Their were only a couple rides that Chase could ride but he loved the dancing/singing characters and the cupcakes. Hahaha : )

This was his favorite ride. He loved to work the controls and always had to be standing. It was really cute.

Chase was to interested in trying to climb out and over the ride. Hahaha. Cooper, well he is just Cooper. His hair is so crazy in this photo. Yikes!!!

Ready to dig in. Looks like he knows what he is doing but really he just likes to hold forks and spoons.
I love the look on his face int his photo. He is so focused on eating this cupcake.

Happy Birthday Baby Chase

My Baby is ONE, cant believe it. He has definitely changed a lot in the last few weeks as his personality has really come to life.  We ended up just having a quite little birthday celebration with just the 5 of us. : ) Topher and Cooper had fun picking out gifts for Chase and then wrapping them (Topher decorated his back with a spider and a spider web).  They also got to help frost and sprinkle the cupcakes. : )  It was fun just being together as a family.  The boys loved wearing party hats (which Topher picked out), blowing party favors, helping chase open his gifts, and eating messy chocolate cupcakes. It was great!!! Here are a few pics of this special night.

Christmas Cookies

I love traditions!!! Sometimes it can be challenging to keep up traditions with kids when they are little. : ) This year we decided to just focus on a couple so our kids wouldn't get over whelmed and so Mom wouldn't go crazy. Hahaha. Making and decorating sugar cookies is just one tradition we can't let go of. : ) The boys really got into it this year and we had a blast.

Nothing like cutting out cookies in your underwear. Hahaha. Cooper isn't to fond of clothes. : )
